# Remove Staff When a staff member leaves your Organisation, it’s important to remove their access to client information and Organisation data. This step helps maintain your Organisation’s **privacy, security, and accreditation standards**. Comm.care, as a client and case management platform, ensures that client data remains protected at all times. Follow the steps below to safely remove a user from your Organisation. ## The first step is to remove a user's access to Circles: Go to **My Organisation > Staff > Roles > Circles**, and then remove the user from all the Circles they belong to by _**clicking on all the red-broken link icons**_**.** ![[How to remove a user's access to Circles on Comm.care.gif]] ## Next step: Remove the User from your Organisation When the user no longer belongs to any Circles, click on the user roles icon, go to **Edit** remove their role **Delete**. ![[How to Remove the User from your Organisation on Comm.care.gif]] _Just in 2 simple steps, you'll be removing the user from your Organisation and will therefore maintain data privacy for your Clients._ > _**Note:** you are NOT deleting the user account, just removing the user from your Organisation.
