# Quick Start for Support Workers (5 Minutes)
Welcome to Comm.care! This quick guide will help you navigate the platform and understand your daily tasks.
## What is Comm.care?
Comm.care is where you'll:
- **View your roster** - See your scheduled appointments
- **Record service delivery** - Create progress notes after providing care
- **Access participant information** - View plans, goals, and documents
- **Manage tasks** - Track reminders and to-dos
Everything is designed to work on your phone, tablet, or computer—so you can access it on the go.

## Key Concepts (1 minute)
**Circle of Care** = A participant's complete record. You'll be given access to the Circles for participants you support.
**My Calendar** = Your personal roster showing all your scheduled appointments.
**Progress Note** = Your documentation of a service you delivered. This is legally required for compliance.
**Timeline** = The participant's history of documents, notes, and activities.

## Your Daily Tasks (2 minutes)
### 1. Check Your Roster
- Go to **My Calendar** (top menu)
- See your appointments for today
- Click an appointment to see details (location, participant, service)
### 2. Provide Services
- Visit the participant
- Deliver the scheduled service
- Note any observations or incidents
### 3. Record Service Delivery
- Create a **Progress Note** after each service
- Include: what you did, how the participant progressed toward goals, any observations
- Progress notes are required for invoicing and compliance
### 4. Access Participant Information
- Click **My Circles** (top menu)
- Select the participant's Circle
- View their **Timeline** for documents, care plans, and history

**Within a Circle:**
- **Profile** - Participant basic information

- **Calendar** - Participant's appointments

## Creating Your First Progress Note
**Quick Steps:**
1. Go to the participant's Circle
2. Click **Timeline** → **Add Progress Note**
3. Fill in required fields:
- **Date & Time** - When service was delivered
- **Location** - Where it took place
- **Service/Line Items** - What you provided
- **Notes** - What happened, participant progress
4. Save
✅ **Progress Note Validation** will check your note automatically to prevent errors.
