# Recording Service Delivery
After delivering a service to a participant, you need to document it with a progress note. This is a legal requirement and the basis for invoicing.
## Quick Steps
1. **Go to the participant's Circle**
2. **Click Timeline → Add Progress Note**
3. **Fill in required fields:**
- Date & time of service
- Location where service was delivered
- Service/line items provided
- Notes about what happened and participant progress
4. **Save**
