We’re sorry to see you go. If you’ve decided to cancel your Comm.care account, please follow the steps below carefully. This guide will help ensure that your account is closed properly and that any important information is exported beforehand.
### **Optional: A Last Conversation That Matters (Highly Recommended)**
Before proceeding with your account cancellation, we’d greatly appreciate the opportunity to understand your experience and the reasons behind your decision.
A short conversation – via [video-conference](https://meet.brevo.com/juan-pereyra/one-to-one-with-juan "https://meet.brevo.com/pnyx/1-on-1"), phone or email – could help us improve our service and better support future users.
Please reach out to our team to schedule a time that suits you.
### **Step 1: Review Your Account**
Before beginning the cancellation process:
- Check for any **outstanding balances** or **pending transactions**.
- Keep in mind: we do not do refunds for Comm.care credits. For more information please refer to our [Terms and Conditions](https://www.pnyx.com.au/legal/terms-and-conditions "https://www.pnyx.com.au/legal/terms-and-conditions").
### **Step 2: Cancel All Active Products**
To proceed with account cancellation, all products associated with your organisation must first be cancelled. After each product is cancelled, the account owner will receive an email containing a link to download all data related to that product.
**Note:** You have 7 days to download your data before it’s permanently deleted.
To cancel products, go to **My Organisation > Credits & Plan** in Comm.care.

Only after all active products have been deactivated will the **‘Cancel Account’** button become available.

### **Step 3: Cancel Your Account**
Once all your products are cancelled, you will now see the **“Cancel Account”** button – click it to initiate cancellation.
Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated and you will be **immediately signed out** of the system.

Note: Once your account is cancelled, all remaining records will be permanently and immediately deleted from the system. You’ll receive an email with a link to download your data, which will be available for 7 days before being permanently deleted.
